Lectures and Classes
I love to talk!! I especially love to talk about buttons! It is amazing how much you can learn about, as well as through the study of buttons. History comes alive, family stories are remembered and passed on, and groups of people are brought together when we talk about buttons. Whether you are a quilter, sewer, stitcher, fiber artist, antiquer, history buff (I could go on for a long while here), or just curious about all kinds of interesting things, buttons are a subject that have relevance to nearly everyone!
I am available to speak to your group about buttons, with an emphasis on your particular interest. You will enjoy hands on demonstrations, detailed images, usable information, and just plain fun facts. I guarantee you will leave my lecture smiling and saying, "I had no idea!".
I also have several classes that I teach that help you to use your buttons, whether old or new. I have a variety of skill levels, as well as mediums used. They can last from one hour, to an all day class, and they can be tailored to suit the needs of your group.
